A job site is a place of work, a place to get to and a place to dig in. And just like every tool, every worker, and every truck, your fleet needs unparalleled dependability from its tires to make every minute count. As construction vehicles evolve and their capabilities and duties change, Goodyear continues to develop innovative technologies and offer rugged products that stay ahead of ever changing needs to keep your trucks on the job and out of the shop.
DuraSeal Technology is the world’s first built-in tire sealant and is available on several Goodyear Construction tires. DuraSeal instantly seals tread punctures* so fleets can spend more time on the job and less time on repairs.
How It Works: When a nail puncture up to ¼” occurs in the tread area, DuraSeal instantly surrounds the nail and seals the tread puncture.
No Competition for Traditional Tire Sealants: DuraSeal isn’t messy, doesn’t dry out, and doesn’t need to be reapplied like traditional sealants.
Lower Cost of Ownership: DuraSeal keeps trucks on the road that might otherwise be taken out of service for repairs. Plus, with DuraSeal technology, fleets can eliminate application, cleaning, and disposal costs that can come with traditional sealants.
A More Efficient Retread: DuraSeal Technology is an easy-to-see yellow substance that helps highlight puncture locations. It can also remain in the tire during the retread process, meaning DuraSeal can keep sealing tread punctures for a casing’s full life cycle.

*Seals up to 1/4" diameter punctures in the repairable area of the tread. Does not seal sidewall punctures.
